Dear Mr. Pretzer and all Listeners,

I just had a long conversation with the webmaster of www.crnjapan.com and came to find out that he himself had redirected the web page, and for unknown reasons will continue to do so until "Tuesday afternoon at the latest" (Japan time or US time was unclear). At any rate, I apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding which may have occurred as a result of the above posting concerning crnjapan.com.

I will however reiterate my willingness to appear as a guest on Mr. Pretzer's show and relate the sad story of James Kento Christie (aka 浦　顕土　"Ura Kento") and how Japanese institutions are flouting international laws and conventions.

Sincerely,

Steve Christie

Dear Mr. Pretzer,

First let me say "Thank You!!!" for your show and for bringing this dreadful issue to a greater public awareness. My son James Kento Christie now 12 years old, was forcefully abducted and is being hidden and held not by either of his parents (my wife is still in Tokyo) nor any relatives of his. This is after he hand-wrote a note to the Minato-ku Tokyo Board of Education stating he wanted to live with his father and go to the school near his father's home, and after he informed a child councilor his mother was physically abusing him (which the councilor passed on to law-enforcement in the U.S. and a report was made which was presented to Japanese Law enforcement at the time of his abduction by his mother). My son James has now for almost a year and a half been kept in hiding far away from Tokyo because my wife (no, we are not yet divorced and I have every legal right to see my son and he his father) knows that my son will return to my home if he was in Tokyo. (My wife testified in court she is keeping him hiding him far from Tokyo.) The Tokyo Family Court has been aiding and abetting these abductions I can verify by my own experience.

I would like to also inform you that there is a documentary film being made about the Murray Woods case and my case will be a part of the documentary. Next week Murray and I will meet in Tokyo and have a Round-Table for the press and for the documentary.

I should also inform you that the crnjapan.com web-site in NOW currently as I write this being REDIRECTED to some Japanese site called crnjapan.org ( a site on "responsible nutrition") and people are not able to access the Child Rights Network site at all , neither by directly putting in the URL nor by linking from Google search. I have just notified Wired Magazine of this new development. I would suggest you try the site yourself, and ask your readers to do the same, AND if they find the same problem please notify their local media outlet and ICCAN (about this problem).

One last item, I would be willing to tell my story on your show as well. I really want to get my story out because as I am not divorced as yet there is still a chance if we can get the U.S. government to start taking action on behalf of American citizens (and yes the government can assist, despite their saying their hands are tied because this is a Japanese issue, it is NOT!) then there is a chance I, no "WE" can save my son James Kento Christie ("Ura Kento").

Thank you again for all you have already done, but please help me save my son!

Sincerely,
Steve Christie

I too have children who were abducted to Japan. November 2001 is the abduction date. I recovered one son last August--the first known recovery from Japan in any regard. I would love to do your show and bring some hope to the other left-behind fathers & mothers (yes, there a few mothers too). I know them work with both CRC and CRN of Japan. Look forward to hearing from you.

I've often gotten new information and a much different perspective on issues by listening to Dana and his guests. Some of these guests have spoken on the same topics on television news shows, but were restricted to answering questions posed in a very brief timeframe. Dana offers them the time to say what they'd like to say and it can be very enlightening.

You played Ofir's song last week called Natalee.
http://www.isound.com/ofir

Another singer, Ericka Harvey, has a song she wrote and sings called Natalee, also. It is a beautiful song. Please listen sometime. Here is the link.
