Great show, Dana. It seems there are too many times when crimes against those who are least able to fight back — a wife, a child, an elderly person or even a pet — could be prevented if the warning signs were taken more seriously. Someone in a home with an abuser needs to know where to turn, someone to guide them through both the pragmatic and legal aspects. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in that kind of situation and wouldn’t know where to turn if I was. As a society, we should be protecting those least able to protect themselves.
