For over a decade, Dana Pretzer has been doing his own brand of unique, entertaining, informed and refreshing style of talk radio. Talk radio where he allows the guest to talk, answer questions and inform the listeners on the important news stories of the day. Dana refers to it as "Main Street Media." We like to refer to it as a welcome and appreciated change.

Dana Pretzer brings his energetic yet relaxed demeanor and his well prepared yet spontaneous style of interviews to Scared Monkeys. Along with some of the biggest and most high-profile guests in the news today. Dana also brings a background in satellite radio and over 20 years in law enforcement. That, coupled with his relaxed yet professional and focused demeanor, makes him a natural behind the SMR microphone.

Dana and Scared Monkeys Radio focuses on Missing Persons, Unsolved Mysteries, Victims Rights, Politics, Crime & Punishment, Exploited Children, Entertainment, Technology and whatever the breaking and relevant stories are of the day. The stories that people want to talk about and hear.

Looking forward to the update on Becca McEvoy.

If there’s time to talk to Pat a bit about the psychology of victim blaming, I hope Dana will ask her. I’m thinking of the juror discussed on Dana’s last show who said the police officer murdered “knew what he was getting into” when he became a cop. As if that somehow means the killer should get a lighter sentence. I don’t get it. We’ve become a nation of idiots who blame someone else for everything, never holding people accountable. We spend a lot of time rationalizing and justifiying our bad behavior.

Enjoyed the show, Dana and guests. Glad to hear Becca’s case is moving forward. Privacy — as technology makes it easier to record things people say and do, this becomes more of an issue. Used to be that the National Enquirer would report these things; now we have major media outlets picking up the ball and running with it. I’d guess that legislators will eventually have to address these issues.

My first thought when I heard about these two young girls is that it was a message to someone — like I can get to your family and I will. May just be a “subhuman” though as Dana refers to it.

Want to remind people that those who harm children, abuse spouses, or engage in other forms of violence often start young and often start by torturing and/or killing animals. Don’t dismiss such behavior as a “phase” or “youth”. It’s serious and will most likely escalate.

I am Becca’s cousin and I never thought I’d see the day when our laws make it more important to give statements to friends than to police and counselors & doctors. The law is all backwards and I wonder if we have a class of preschoolers writing our laws? I think Bob needs to come clean then he might could save some face but, we are determined to make everybody aware of him for as long as he hides and is a hazard!!!!
